The Pomeroy Volunteer Fire Company EMS Division would like to ensure the safety of our Community residents, employers and visitors. Not only providing training for our members, but also offering training our residents and business’s within our local area. By doing so we can make western Chester County a safer place to work and live. Beginning on January, 1st 2010 we will be offering CPR, First Aid, and many other classes to our members, the public and the business community.

As Emergency Medical Technicians, we are required to maintain at least 24 hours of continuing education every three years along with CPR Certification. While our firefighters are required to maintain First Responder and CPR certification along with other fire related certifications.

The Pomeroy Volunteer Fire Company EMS Division is a certified Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) Continuing Education site, as well as an accredited American Health and Safety (ASHI) Training facility. We offer courses to residents, businesses, and public safety officials. If you are interested in learning how to perform CPR and basic first aid, we can help. 

Classes for residents will be held here at our station and for church groups or business we can arrange to come to your facility.
