The Pomeroy Fire Company donated used firefighting equipment such as PPE, and other equipment to one of our own members who resides in North Carolina. Firefighter Brooks is listed in the Marines and resides in North Carolina. His fire company Township # 6 in Craven County N.C. is a company, which could benefit from some of our equipment, which has been replaced over time.

On January 6th, 2010 Firefighter Brooks advised he would be headed back to North Carolina in a few days and spoke to his Fire Chief at Township # 6, Chief Bradson who expressed interest in some of our equipment. Before the night was out Firefighter Brooks was getting his SUV loaded down with equipment in which was no longer needed by the Pomeroy Fire Company.
